When I first saw Cammie she was running around just like any other puppy. I was told when she came into rescue she was emaciated and covered in fleas and ticks. Her owners didn't want her because she was deaf. Cammie was an extremely smart Boxer. I taught her some sign language and as she grew older she knew what I wanted without even barely having to look at me. Bio: I took Cammie and two of my other dogs to a new groomer to be bathed. The groomer advertised she had been in business for over 30 years, and when I spoke with her it was apparent that she was very knowledgeable. After dropping off three of my dogs I took the other one to a local park. After only 20 minutes I received a call from the groomer and she stated that I should come back as soon as possible. Then she said my dog died. Cammie died. No apparent cause of death. She had vomited and they went to get something to clean her cage with. When they returned to her crate she had died. Cammie was a real joy in my life and she taught me so much about handicapped animals. She was not with me long enough. She never met a stranger and would love on everyone, giving them kisses and Boxer Wiggles until they couldn't breath.
