Arrival Story:
I got Max from Wonderdog Rescue in San Francisco. He was on the euthanasia list in Klamath Falls, OR because he does NOT do well with strangers, which made it hard for him to get adopted. I was not intending to get a dog when I got Max, especially not a small one, and he didn't catch my eye when I was hanging out with Linda at a dog adoption event. But I came back the next day for some reason... as if a voice in my head was telling me to go see her again. When I got in the pen with the dogs, Max came over and wanted to be held. Every time I got out of the pen, he made sad puppy eyes at me. Who could possibly resist such a cute guy?
