laying on Mom's bed and playing with my lovey, playing tug o' war, chasing squirrels

Pet-Peeves:
Sammy, my brother, jumping all over me when I come inside, baths, well, water of any sort

Favorite Toy:
my lovey. For those of you that are uninformed, my lovey was a green sweatshirt that my Mom wrapped me up in when she found me. I've ripped the orginal one apart but I know have a red one!

Favorite Food:
absolutely anything my family is eating! But I really love my t-r-e-a-t-s. And, yes, I know what that spells.

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere!!! I love to go outside! I also like to run away...

Best Tricks:
I can sit, give you either paw, lay down, and dance around in a circle! I also bark on comand but I bark more when my Mom doesn't want me to.

Arrival Story:
My Mom found me at the bottom of church stairs. Mean people dropped me down a stairwell and left me! I was only a tiny 4 week old baby. My Mom thought I was a rat! The only thing that saved me and made her go get me was my little black tail wagging. I was so young that she had to feed me puppy milk! I am much happier now! :)

Bio:
I am the apple of my Mother's eye, and I have to share her with my new brother, Sammy. I am well-loved, although a bit hyper, but I am learning how to socialize with others better. I especially love to dress up for Halloween, Christmas and other holidays.

A Busy Summer

Well Dog Pals it's been a busy summer for me. I got to go on vacation to the beach (which is wonderful to run on) and spend a lot of time with my Nana. I have been taking the most wonderful naps and enjoying my early morning walks with Mom

Uh-Oh Today I Went To the Vet

Well, today was the day of reckoning. Mom wanted to find out if there was anything she could do for my chronic ear infections (they hurt me so much!) and to talk about my treat problem, and the Vet took some blood (ouch!) because he said something about my thyroid. I don't know what that all is, but I don't like getting blood drawn, it scares me. I hid in Mom's shoulder, smelling her and shaking. She kept rubbing me and promising that this would soon be over. I am afraid.

Today was pretty typical for me. I woke Mom up to go and potty, then TREATTTSSSS. Then as she let Sammy (his name should of been Me, too! He copies everything I do!) out and she made her coffee, I remembered that I had to go again...then more TREATTTTSSS. It was cold this morning and that distracted me. I sniffed at the floor in the garage, because I think something came in last night. I will have to keep my nose focused just in case those squirrels try to come in my garage. Anyway, I tried to trick Mom into giving me another Treat (did I mention I have a Treat problem?), but she caught on and told me the one word that hurts me so....no. So I hung out with her in the kitchen to make sure she was serious, looking sad and dejected, but she knows my game and she ignored me. Meanwhile, Sammy the pest, found my lovey and started playing with it, throwing it around, taunting me with it. I had to defend the lovey, so I snatched it and we began to play tug o'war. I love this game!!! Then, I got tired, and went upstairs to my bed, it still smelled like Mom and snuggled in. I awoke when Sammy started barking at the repairman, and his strange noises made the hair on the back of my neck stand up! I settled down, because Mom knew that the repairman was here, (of course, Sammy continued barking...) and fell back asleep in my bed.
Afternoon--sleep
Evening--sleep
Late evening, I got up to get a drink and potty and TREAATTTTS, and settled down with Mom to watch TV. Later when it is time for bed, I will go, settle down at her side and keep watch. Sometimes I wake Mom up snoring.
