MRI's of Animals??

For those of you who do not know (OK, probably mostly all of you, BOL!), Mama is a MRI Tech in a hospital. Well, today Mama had an opportunity to meet with the owner of a MRI company that scans animals in the veterinary setting about a job in our area!

Yeah...US ANIMALS! Can you believe it?

Mama says it'd be WAY COOL to see what we look like on the insides and to be able to see what's causing us to not feel so well sometimes. All-in-all, it was a GREAT meeting, and Mama is super excited and hopeful that she gets the position. Please keep your paws crossed, could you? :)

I wonder if Mama will need any "models"? Do you think they can see through my spots? *ponders*

What is it lately?

Why is there so much sadness?

It feels like nearly everywhere I turn lately there's something sad. Someone's passing to the bridge...someone's leaving Dogster...someone's pawrent isn't doing well.

Of course there isn't going to be an answer to my "Why?"

Still...well, just want to say to those who are going through difficult times right now that you are in my thoughts. I wish there was something I could do to help, and that my heart hurts to see the suffering and pain, whether physical or in the form of a broken heart. I wish I could wrap up a hug and send it your way...that it would bring happiness to you for just a little bit.

But, I cannot. So please just know that you are in my thoughts...

I didn't hunt for eggs, that was up to the little ones in the house. And I didn't get a basket (what's up with that?!?). And, no, I didn't eat the ears off a chocolate bunny.

I was a good girl :)

I'm SEVEN years old today!

It's my birthday today! And I've been spoiled! I got a PRETTY pink collar from my sister Maizy! And I got a cupcake at her house, too! And I got lots of special prezzie and rosies on my page from my wonderful pals!

Not sure what to title this, but I hope my pals read- it...you know who you are :)

Hi All...

Mama got some bad news today. She lost her job. This is the second time within 14 months that this has happened. Add that to the other stresses in the house right now...well, we're in tough times again.

But that's not the point of this entry. We know we aren't alone in this situation. We have close pals who are also enduring their own hardships...some very severe, and our thoughts are with you.

The point of this entry is to thank our dear pals (and family members ;) for your ongoing support, understanding, and advice. We're not going to whine...we try to let it out once and that's that. But we sure appreciate your kind words and thoughts and prayers. It's helpful to know that there are others out there who've gone through this. And we know where we can turn if we need to vent.

So, thank you pals and family for being you, and meaning so much to me.

I just read this today and am deeply saddened. These are beautiful dogs, some with serious health issues, or are blind, one is three-legged.

I received an Anonymous ROSE today with a cute picture of a teddy bear that says "You are so cute"! How exciting is that?? *snoopy dance* Now, who is anonymous? I wonder if it's a Valentine? I hope so!

Happy day to all! Mama's busy in the kitchen making Cottage Cheese Pie...(I think it's kind of like a custard pie...I'll let you know...this is the first time she's making it) and homemade Mac 'n Cheese!
