Dog Park!

Choppy went to the dog park the other day and ran the fence with the big dogs! I've never seen her run so fast......I thought her little legs would fall off. She ran the fence for at least 1/2 hour and then came home and crashed. It was the cutest thing.......

surgery!

poor choppy had surgery on thursday........she had to get a growth removed from her face. she is doing fine, but she has a nasty scar on her face. we will find out on monday if it is cancer (they sent it to the lab to find out what it is).......she is right back to being the same chopper though - bossing the other dogs around, begging for food, etc. we also got her teeth cleaned while she was under.......we started doing this every year for all of the dogs - not cheap, but def. worth it........chopper has beatiful pearly whites!! she had to get a tooth pulled last year (she had another growth on her face where the inside of her mouth was very swollen). the vet thought that this new bump was due to complications from that, we tried giving her antiobotics for a week to see if it would go down but it didn't and then it started leaking blood and pus......poor chopper. anyway, she is going to be fine, hopefully the bump is not cancer or something serious.
