Arrival Story:
Cookie was adopted as a puppy by a family with two little boys. Cookie was the most beautiful puppy ever, but didn't stay a little (big)puppy long. She got bigger, and bigger, and bigger. Cookie being a playful puppy was too much for the little boys, because she would just bowl them over with her enthusiam. She was just playing too rough. The mom kept her in a big kennel most of the time. Cookie quickly outgrew the kennel. She was destined for a new home or the shelter....in steps her new mom (me),Deborah. One of my co-workers was the sister-in-law of the owner. She asked me if I wanted a free Goldoodle......well.....yeah. I asked my exhusband if he wanted her and he said yes. So he drove over to Tallahassee from Jacksonville to get her. We drove to their house, I was immediately struck by her sheer beauty and her wildness. Seems keeping her in a kennel had only made her made wilder and more playful than ever when she did get out. So we loaded her up and off we went to my house. Poor thing, abducted by strangers. He took her home to Jacksonville. She stayed there for two weeks before he was calling me to say he couldn't keep her, and did I want her. If not, he was going to "sell" her. My first reply was yes I did want her, and how can you "sell" her when you didn't buy her???? So he drove over (immediately) and brought her back to me. She's been with me a little over two years now. I got her right after her 1st birthday (So she really was a big puppy still). I love her to pieces. We have finally come to an understanding of coexistance.

Bio:
Hi, My name is Cookie. It was Gracie before my new and most wonderfulest mom renamed me. I like Cookie better, because it suits me. I also like Zsa Zsa which suits me also. I am a glamour queen you know. I was very wild and a real handful when I first moved here, but now I am the calm one in the house. I got a new dog sister, Dodi. She's a labradoodle and a little "dodi" not a genius like me, but I love her. Getting back to the glamour thing....I like to get my hair blow dried, I like to have make-up put on when my mom puts her make-up on..especially blush. I've been known to eat a sock, but I'm working on breaking that bad habit. Hope you come to my site to see me often, because I'd love to talk to you. I like friends. See ya
