Arrival Story:
Keaira came from the same litter as Miley. She was originally promised to a family, but the family came to pick her up during her "ugly stage" (when she was starting to lose her puppy hair so she looked scraggly) and decided she wasn't cute enough. Since she and Miley were so close, I ended up adopting her, too. It turned out to be the best for both of them because they can't stand to be separated and they get bored easily without each other.

Today, Elisha, Miley and I played a really fun variation of my favorite game "find the ball."

First Elisha told me to wait, so I did. And then she'd go into different rooms and hide the ball and then come back and say "go find the ball!"

Miley and I had contests to see who could find it first. Sometimes, she'd see it first, but I'd steal the glory by taking the ball before she could. It was a lot of fun trying to find out where she hid it! But sometimes, we needed help, so she'd point towards it and say "go get the ball!" and we'd follow where she pointed until we got confused again and then she'd do it again. Maybe someday we'll be able to do this without her help.
