Arrival Story:
Guy came to live with me as a member of his litter, he picked me by crawling into my lap and showing me his desire to come home with me.
Bio:
Guy is a member of Paws For Friendship and visits at Pawsitive reading at the Library once a month, UNMC once a week to visit the long term kids at the hospital and twice a week at the Adult Crisis Center. He goes once a month to a senior living facility, too.
'Guy' is also my ears to the world. Because of a tumor, if I sleep on one ear, I'm pretty much deaf.
He sleeps under my covers most evenings although he sleeps in a carrying case periodically so that he can travel with me and be comfortable in his 'home away from home'. I would recommend teaching your puppy to sleep in a bed at a young age so you and your pet are a welcome overnight visitor anywhere you go.
My brother had a hip replacement. Guy went with me while we slept at his home for a week. At night, no prowling or jumping up and down as he goes into his bed and he is home.
