I didn't want to go....

and Momma knew it. I tinkled on the floor at home, I was very nervous....I think Momma new I was nervous and that's why she didn't fuss.

I was good on the drive over....even when Katie started barking at the bridge. Silly Katie.

I was first to see the Doctor...why me????? I am the baby. The newest to the clan. But Momma sold me out and threw me up on that cold table first. I heard the girl say 22 lbs. Yeah, I guess that is about right.

Dr. Allen was nice and so was his Vet Tech but I still didn't like it. I think that I am going to hide with Amos when we have to go again.

Momma did give us a bully stick when we got home. That was good.

4th time was so much more fun....

Katie and I dug up the garden 4 times today....each time it got better!

3rd times a charm

Katie and I dug up the garden 3 times today. It was an accident.

I hear them talking......

They thought that they could get rid of me - they thought that they found me the right home.....I proved them wrong!

My second foster Mom received a call from my temp Mom saying that it wasn't working out and if possible would she come and pick me up. My second foster Mom was there in minutes......I heard her tell my temp Mom that they never stopped thinking about me. I KNEW IT!!!! THEY LOVED ME - THEY REALLY LOVED ME!!! I came home on Monday, June 2nd and knew that I was home for good - Mommy and Daddy knew too, they just wouldn't admit it.

Finally, on Thursday, June 5th around 830PM I heard Mommy say - "he is staying, right???" ....and Daddy "Yes, of course...no one can love him and care for him like we will."

What I didn't know was that when I first went to what was supposed to be my forever home, my real, real Mommy, cried and cried and cried. She cried because my real, real Daddy didn't get to tell me goodbye, she cried because Katie and Amos didn't get to say goodbye and she cried because she knew that she was going to miss me immensely. Although, she knew that I would be well loved and cared for in my "new" home - it just didn't feel right.

Well, I have returned. Katie and Amos are a little nicer to you - you all know how these terrors, I mean, terriers can be. Very dominant and very territorial. BUT, I am winning them over with my wonderful, sweet personality.

Mommy bought me this really cool stuffed toy to play with but Katie destroyed it before the end of the night. That's ok because - I still have two more in my hiding spot.....it's a place that only me and Mommy know about....HA!

That's all for now.....oh, one more thing....IT'S GREAT TO BE HOME.......AGAIN!!!!

It has been an honor....

It has been an absolute honor for our family to host Riley Jacob in our home and it is with a very heavy heart that we have decided to not adopt Riley.

When I first met Riley he was shy, sweet shy, not skittish shy - but it didn't take him very long to warm up and steal our hearts.

Riley deserves the very best. He is one of the sweetest dogs that my husband and I have ever met. He is beautiful on the inside and out. He is lovable, smart, easy going, funny, beautiful and oh so sweet.

I love when Riley let's me hold him like a baby and rub his tummy. When I stop, he puts up his little paws and begs for more. It is impossible to resist giving him more rubs! I LOVE TO SEE HIM SMILE!!!!

The best type of home for Riley is one with LOTS of human and doggie contact. He is active and gentle at the same time. He loves to give and get love. He prefers a home with lots of air condition - like his foster Mom!

Riley loves to take walks - he is great on a leash. Never barks at other dogs, bikes or humans. He loves rides in cars and listens very well. He is fast - he will whip out the door without you even knowing - stealth like. He wants to be your constant companion.

Even though this sweet creature has only been with us a short time, I love him and will always hold a very special place in my heart for my Ri Boy. This baby deserves the very best......
