Arrival Story:
After the passing of my 12 year old Irish Setter last year, I dearly missed the companionship and love of a good ol' Irish girl. So... I decided to get 2 of them this time (to keep each other company). We'll, they do that and more.. what one does, the other does.. Anyone that has a puppy will know what I mean. It's double trouble. Oh, I know from experience ( I've had 5 in the past) that about the age of 2 yrs, they start to actually wind down a little. In the meantime, it's love and a lot of hell. :) My beautiful, smart, loving, get into everything... redheads.

Daddy said a bad word

Daddy said a bad word

Sunday was like any other day. We woke up mom about 5:30 and said "what's for breakfast"? Mom alway's laughs at me cause I jump on my food bowl while my sister Teagan sits politely. I guess that's how I got my nickname Bubba cause I love to eat. My sister Teagan, would rather chase the birds.

Today, my daddy thought it would be a good day to go get his haircut so he left for awhile. When he returned, Teagan and I were standing by the automatic gate wagging our tails and happy to see daddy pull into the driveway. We just love it when our daddy comes home.

Oh boy, the gate opened! That's weird...normally, daddy comes in through the garage door when we are in the backyard. Oh Renny, take a look at those birds... Let's go get one! Hey, how come daddy's mad? He's saying bad words and yelling at mom to get our leashes. Oh... look Teagan, I want that one! Let's go.... Hey, did you hear dad again? He said something I've never heard him say to us. Don't know what it means, but this is fun! Hey Renny, wait up for me.... Dad can't keep up with us, this is fun! Dad told mom he used to run track, but he can't keep up with us. We are proving to be quite the bird dogs indeed...

Mom doesn't know where we all went cause all she heard was daddy yelling to get the leashes, and a few choice words..

Dad is still chasing us... Mom went and got the car.... Oh dad finally caught me about a mile from the house. Oh...now he's got Teagan and he's breathing harder than we are... Oh boy, we are in serious trouble!

Awe, it feels good to be home. Let's go swimming Teagan. I'm tired... Too much bird chasing for the day.

Still don't know what daddy said, but I think it was a bad word.
