When tomorrow starts without me,
And I'm not there to see;
The sun will rise and find your eyes
All filled with tears for me.
I wish so much you wouldn't cry
The way you did today,
Remembering how I'd lay my head
In your lap that special way.
I know how much you love me,
As much as I love you,
And each time that you think of me,
I know you'll miss me too.

But when tomorrow starts without me.
Please try to understand,
That an angel came and called my name
And petted me with her hand.
She said my place was ready,
In Heaven far above,
And that I'd have to leave behind
All those I dearly love.
But, as I turned to heel away,
A tear fell from my eye,
For all my life I never thought
That I would have to die.

I had so much to live for,
So many sits and downs to do,
It seemed almost impossible,
That I was leaving you.
I thought about our lives together,
I know you must be sad,
I thought of all the love we shared,
And all the fun we had.
Remember how I'd nudge your hand,
And poke you with my nose?
The frisbee I would gladly chase,
The bad guy, I'd "bark and hold".

If I could relive yesterday,
Just even for awhile,
I'd wag my tail and kiss you,
Just so I could see you smile.
But, then I fully realized,
That this could never be;
For emptiness and memories
Will take the place of me.
And when I thought of treats and toys,
I might miss come tomorrow,
I thought of you and when I did,
My dog-heart filled with sorrow.

But then I walked through Heaven's gate,
And felt so much at home;
As God looked down and smiled at me,
From His beautiful golden throne.

He said, "This is eternity,
And now we welcome you,
Today your life on earth is past,
But here it starts anew.
I promise no tomorrow,
But today will always last;
For you see, each days's the same day,
There's no longing for the past.
Now you have been so faithful,
So trusting, loyal and true;
Though there were times you did things,
You knew you shouldn't do.
But good dogs are forgiven,
And now at last you're free;
So won't you sit here by my side,
And wait right here with me?"

So when tomorrow starts without me,
Don't think we're far apart.
For every time you think of me,
I'm right there, in your heart.

Rainbow Bridge Day...April 1, 2010

My sweet baby Baloo,

Today is your second Rainbow Bridge Day...I can just see you all waiting with your furiends for all the balloons and bubbles to arrive...this is the poem I put in your balloons:

Your little faces I still see,
You were always there looking up at me,
The love we shared is so special and true
There will never be any as special as you.

You made me laugh, You comforted me,
You were always there with love....unconditionally
I take comfort in knowing you are waiting for me.

They say God walks through his garden picking only the most special flowers,
He choose five of the most special flowers when he choose you.

You will always be in my heart,
You will always be on my mind,
Those are very special memories that can never be left behind.

December 23....your 2nd woofday

My sweet Lil' mansize

Today would have been your 2nd wooday...I can't help but think you never even saw your first woofday . I am so sorry your lie was cut short, I truly tried to save you. I am sorry your last days were spent in the vetspital...I hope you know I love you with all my heart.
I talk to you all every night beore bed....do you hear me? You will remain in my heart forever, until the day we meet again.

I hope you enjoy your woofday at the bridge with all your furiends and that you have a big pawty. I will be watching you in my mind ... and picturing the silliness I know you can get into!!

A special poem...

A Special Gift
They're a very special gift; to be cherished and loved
You're chosen for each other; by God Himself above
It's a match made in heaven; so it can't be wrong

One year annifursary at Rainbow Bridge

Well bumpkins it has been a year today that you went to the bridge. I miss you so , I wonder what you would be like today if you were still here with me...how big would you be? would you still be the most hyper Chi ever? would you still hang on Lily's tail while she runs through the house? These are questions I will never know the answer too. I am quite sure you would have been a little man! I still have all your stuff, safe and secure in the spare room. Sometimes when I go in there and see your stuff I imagine you jumpimg in your purse " Let's go Mommy...I am ready" You were always ready!!

I planted a flower by your headstone today in your memory...it has beautiful purple flowers and the sweetest smell...I know you would like it. I think about you everyday and wondering what you are doing up there...I know one day I will see you again and that will be a joyous day!! I love you mansize....I miss you everyday....

I am AOTW at Chihuahuas Heart 2 Heart!!!!

WOW!!!!!! I still cannot pawlieve it...I am being honored this week at H2H!! I never thought I would get such an honor, I wasn;t with Mommy that long and I am just a little guy! Mommy says she is so proud of me for being such a little man at the bridge and recieving this honor, she even got all teary eyed when she found out ( Mommy's are such babies...bol!!!!)

I want to thank all my furiends at H2H....this means alot to me and to Mommy!!! You Chi's are the best!!!

We got our balloons!!!

Well, today was the day my furblings have been telling me about...Rainbow Bridge Day! I got up early and followed them to the daisy fields to watch for our balloons from Mommy. I have never seen such a sight...Balloons of all colors filled the sky!! It was so beautiful.

Mommy sent us 2 white heart shapes, a pink heart shape, a red heart shape and a white star shaped balloon...she said the star was cause we shine so bright (((()))) Oh Mommy!! I LOVED my balloon!!! This was my first Rainbow Bridge Day and you made it very special for me...thank you Mommy!!

You know them kitties...D-Max and White Boots?? Well, their Mommy sent up BUBBLES!!! Boy..it was fun chasing them bubbles ... thanks fur sharing your bubbles with us Chi's (((()))) And Cisco's Mama sent us a red balloon....thank you Cisco's mama (((())))


Mommy....I love you and miss you, I will always be watching over you and waiting for you...I am with you wherever you , and whatever you do... I LOVE YOU MOMMY!!!! I know I will see you again and I will get a BUNCH of kissies from you!!!!

April 1...Rainbow Bridge Day

My lil man size...

Today is your first Rainbow Bridge Day and I find it very hard to write your letter...I miss you so much! I think about you each and everyday and wonder what you are doing. you were so young when you had to leave me...only 4 months old. I tell myself that God must have needed you more...and you know he only picks the best!

I am sorry you didn;t have much time on earth with me, but I pray that you know how much I love you and never wanted anything to happen to you. I tried to make you all better, I hope you know that. I am sorry I wasn't there when you passed...but I was with you in your heart. I will always be with you, just as you will always be with me.

I know you are running around having fun with all your furiends at the Bridge, tagging along with your brothers and Cisco...who is no doubt like a brother to you. I cherish that thought...that you all are happy and healthy again.

I keep your picture on the same table it has always been on and try to keep a candle lit for you. I still have the electric candles on everynight in your memory...I hope you can see them!! You know you are still my heart and soul...you always will be. I will never , ever forget you or the special love we shared... I still tell anyone who will listen all about you! And who wouldn't want to listen?? I know that one day we will all be together again, until that day I will send all my love up to you and you will remain in my heart...

Have fun watching all the balloons come in and sharing your memories with all your furiends...I love you all and will see you again....

Christmas at Rainbow Bridge

As the midnight hour approaches on Christmas Eve, a tremendous celebration begins. If you listen closely you will hear the exuberant sound of Bridgekids preparing for the remarkable moment that comes but once a year. Puppies romp through the tall green grass, chasing butterflies and rolling over and over until fits of giggles bring them to a tumbling stop. The volume increases as kittens, cats, tigers and lions purr in pure delight while the wings of snow white doves gently caress the air. The babbling brook that runs beneath Rainbow Bridge overflows onto the edge of mossy banks and fins of treasured aquatic life quiver in anticipation of this most joyous event. Nestled in the midst of this happy choir of Bridgekids are the littlest angel tots staring in awe at the majestic Christmas tree adorned with flowing strands of angel hair. Effervescent, twinkling stars seesaw elegantly from the sky and land in glorious harmony upon the stoic limbs of Heaven's most perfect Christmas tree. Swaying to and fro in nearby rocking chairs are grandmothers, grandfathers, parents, aunts, uncles and loved ones. The sound of their whispered lullabies permeate the air as they sing to tiny angel babies resting quietly in their arms.

Like magic the clock approaches midnight and a great stirring is heard in the distance. Each Bridgekid stops and listens, knowing the time is near, and they choose a fleecy cloud on which to snuggle. The roar of purrs drops to barely an audible hum, the babbling brook ripples hypnotically and the flutter of downy feathered wings fall silent. Heaven's spirited toddlers climb expectantly upon the laps of angels while babies coo in tranquil unison.

Amidst the warm glow of candle light which rises from the earth below, the arms of the Bridge Keeper envelop the heavens and into the precious hands of each child and in front of each animal a holy gift is placed. With grand exuberance the ribbons are removed and left to fly on a tender breeze where they dissolve into showers of angel dust. As the golden lids of these heavenly gifts are raised, an amazing aura fills the sky, reaching down to the very core of the earth. Ascending from each and every box is the greatest gift of all…unending, unconditional, all-encompassing love. This blessed love gently wraps itself around the cherished souls of heaven, warming their hearts with beacons of radiant light and bringing forth from angels an exquisite chorus. As the clock strikes midnight the distance between heaven and earth is vanished. It is at this very moment on Christmas Eve that the Bridge Keeper, His children, angels and Bridgekids send a message to their earthly loved ones on the wings of this unbridled love.

Listening carefully with an open heart we will hear the familiar voice of our own angel whisper softly into our ear their Christmas message..."Let me share with you this love of mine, always and forever. When you need me know that I am here. I have not left you for I am in your heart where I belong. Our love is eternal as is the brilliant glow of candlelight which illuminates the path to the heavens and Rainbow Bridge. I wait patiently as do you for our inevitable and glorious reunion. I love you, I love you, I love you."
