Arrival Story:
We weren't really expecting a dog... A friend of a friend broke up with her boyfriend and couldn't keep Sadie. Then Dutchess.. I saw her picture and FELL IN LOVE! I told my boyfriend we HAD to go see her in person. He said no and that I would fall in love with her and we would have a new dog! haha.. Well it took some convincing and we went to see her.. We pulled up to the house and saw her running around. She was beautiful. We walked in and she immediately came and sat at my feet and started licking my hand. We talked to the guy and he was very uninterested in her, saying you can take her now, I don't care I just need to get rid of her. So she was just really excited and her tail whipped his beer bottle and knocked it over, he shouted and swore at her and she was cowered under the coffee table...it was apparent he was abusing her! I knew at that minute, I was taking her. But my boyfriend said lets think about. We left and got 5 minutes away and called him and said we'll take her.. Now we have had her for about 8 months and she is the most wonderful dog ever..
