The cats. Other than that, she and Dandy steal the same bone from each other despite the fact that there are at least half a dozen bones on the floor at any given moment.

Favorite Walk:
Lucky doesn't like to walk so much. She likes to go outside and take a sunbath.

She can catch food very well.
Arrival Story:
We inherited Lucky after Mom T's dad passed away. He had always had dogs and really wanted one to keep him company after losing his little dog, Nicu, but knew he might not be around long enough to take care of one for the duration of its life. We told him to go pick out a dog and we would take care of it, if it came to that. He went to the pound and picked out Lucky. They traveled back and forth across the country several times visiting relatives. She was always by his side and they were the best of friends. People would ask him what kind of dog she was and he would reply that she was a very rare Needle Nose Shepherd.
Bio:
After growing up in the country, Lucky came to live with us in the city. After the initial culture shock she settled in well. She has a very relaxed personality and loves to be around people.

Lucky went to the Bridge yesterday. We are already missing her calming presence and big smile.

Lucky was diagnosed with bone cancer last week. She was happy to visit the vet and wanted to go say hi to everyone and their dogs, including the big mean rottie that was growling at everyone. She's on meds for pain. Other than her limping she's as happy and alert as she's always been.
