Arrival Story:
One of my friends has a Full Bred Beagle, and conacted me when she had her pups. However, oop's the Daddy was Part Schnauzer that she bred with!! So here was Lucy, one little ball of white curls, among all 7 other beagles! I went to see the puppies, and I stood there and I looked at her and she was looking at me, and I started to go get her, and she ran and jumped in my arms...I will never forget that moment! She is still mama's precious little ball of curls! Mama's Princess! She is very protective of me, and is jealous if I give too much attention to the other Dog's and not her, she lets me know about it, too!!! Love you, Princess Girl, Lucy Lou! XOXO

All things bright and beautiful,
all creatures great and small,
all things wise and wonderful:
the Lord God made them all.
Each little flower that opens,
each little bird that sings,
God made their glowing colors,
and made their tiny wings.
The Purple-headed mountains
the river running by,
the sunset and the morning
that brightens up the sky.
The cold wind in the winter,
the pleasant summer sun,
the ripe fruits in the garden:
God made them every one.
God gave us eyes to see them
and lips that we might tell
how great is God Almighty,
who has made all things well.
Thank You, Lord, for this fine day,
Alleluia, praise the Lord.

I've only one life; it soon will be gone.
What will remain of the things that I've done?
Will I be remembered as someone who cared?
Someone who sympathized? Someone who shared?
Will the things that I did while on earth be worthwhile?
Have I lightened a load?
Gone the second mile?
Did I put off my ambitions?
Put them on hold?
To help someone else in reaching their goal?
If I can say YES to these things, and more,
Then I'll not be ashamed when I reach Heaven's shore.
I will hold my head high, when I'm called by my Lord
To stand before God to receive my reward.

WHEN YOU THOUGHT I WASN'T LOOKING
A message every adult should read because children
are watching you and doing as you do, not as you say.
When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you hang my
first painting on the refrigerator, and I immediately
wanted to paint another one.
When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you feed a
stray cat, and I learned that it was good to be kind
to animals.
When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you make my
favorite cake for me, and I learned that the little
things can be the special things in life.
When you thought I wasn't looking I heard you say a
prayer, and I knew that there is a God I could always
talk to, and I learned to trust in Him.
When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you make a
meal and take it to a friend who was sick, and I
learned that we all have to help take care of each other.
When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you take care
of our house and everyone in it, and I learned we have
to take care of what we are given.
When you thought I wasn't looking I saw how you
handled your responsibilities, even when you didn't
feel good, and I learned that I would have to be
responsible when I grow up.
When you thought I wasn't looking I saw tears come
from your eyes, and I learned that sometimes things
hurt, but it's all right to cry.
When you thought I wasn't looking I saw that you
cared, and I wanted to be everything that I could be..
When you thought I wasn't looking I learned most of
life's lessons that I need to know to be a good and
productive person when I grow up.
When you thought I wasn't looking I looked at you and
wanted to say,’ Thanks for all the things I saw when
you thought I wasn't looking.'
