Bio:
The Cocker Companions Rescue was started by a dog trainer and dog shower and a cocker lover! There was no local Cocker rescue so she decided to start one. This rescue is just getting started and is grwoing by the second. All of our dogs are up to date with their shots, parasite free (internally and externally), spayed or neutered, microchipped, temperment tested, heartworm negative, and current with heartworm and flea/tick preventative before being adopted. Visit our website at www.cockercompanions.com or email Itchypolly1221@cs.com for more info. Donations are greatly appreciated!

Purina is offering a 30 day supply of Purina One cat or dog food . The toll free # is (&n bsp;800) 521-6300. If you don't need it for your self you can get some and donate it to a rescue organization. You can also ask friends and family to call and help out. One offer per household.

If you don't want to use the Purina food, may I suggest you call anyway and donate it to a rescue. . .or give it to someone who has a dog or cat. I just called and it takes about 3 minutes of your time.

We have been approved to set up at Agrifeed on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 1:30 to 4:00. There were hoops we had to jump through, but finally we are done.

Thanks!!!

The Meaning of Rescue

Now that I am home, bathed, settled and fed, all nicely tucked in my warm bed, I'd like to open my baggage, lest I
forget, there is so much to carry - so much regret.

Hmmm... Yes there it is, right on top, lets upack Loneliness, Heartache and Loss, and there underneath hides Fear
and Shame.

As I look on these things I tried so hard to leave - I still have to unpack my baggage called Pain.
I loved them, the others, the ones who hurt me, but I wasn't good enough - for they didnt want me.
Will you add to my baggage? or Will you help me unpack? or Will you just look at my things - and take me right back?
Do you have the time to help me unpack? To put away my baggage , to never repack?

I pray that you do - I'm so tired you see, but I do come with baggage - will you still want me??
