Arrival Story:
Queenie was born in Buckhannon, West Virginia. She is part Chow and part Golden (we think) and was adopted by two young boys, Eddie and Alan. Their family moved and gave her to a family friend. When I was helping to paint the friend's house she mentioned that she needed to find Queenie a new home. So I took her home with me to Michigan.
Bio:
She was fantastic with little children. She was the mascot for a little girl's soccer team and she even went to children's birthday parties as an invited guest! She was wonderful with cats, and one of my cats, JJ, became her best friend. I cherished every day with her. Queenie passed away peacefully on December 1, 2008 after a brief struggle with cancer.
