A Day in the Life of Cooper

It sure is hot out!

Today, was a very hot day. It was up in the 90s and that is pretty hot, especially for June! I have a kiddie pool that I love to play in but Mommy said I can only play for 15 minutes. Mommy said that puggies can overheat easier than other doggies and she loves me so much she doesn't want me to overheat. I told her I wouldn't, but she still wouldn't let me. My walks are also shorter. I pant a lot, and I am much slower. And to make things worse, I am not allowed to go on car rides anymore! Mommy says its too hot in the car, but I love car rides! Oh well, Mom promises as soon as it gets cooler we will go on a car ride. Just me and her! I'm looking foward to it.

So all you dogs out there, especially pugs like me, be careful outside! And make sure never to let you mommies and daddies keep you in the car too long!

Hope everyone is having a good summer! Bow wow for now!

SNOW!

There is some really weird white stuff coming from the sky and mommy told me its snow. It is so much fun!! I like to try and catch it before it hits the ground. I just run around with my mouth open! You can jump in it and bite it and eat it! It is the coolest thing. Everything is white. Mommy said there might be a snow blizzard so we can't stay out too long. Besides my feet were getting a little cold. Mommy promised we could go out later!!

There is a hill by my house and I saw kids riding down the hill on plastic things. It looks like a lot of fun. My mom said maybe we could go try it later. To tell you the truth, I'm kinda scared, but I will be brave and try it!

Well I have to go for now. Mommy and I are going to take a nap under the blankies! I hope everyone out there is having as good of a day as I am!! Woof for now!

My First Day of Obedience Class

Today was a really busy day. See, today was my first day of puppy obedience class. I'm not that naughty of a puppy, but I have my moments. I love to chase and bite Mommy's slippers. I like to beg at the dinner table, which Mommy says isn't good manners. So she took me to class. It's kinda like school...or what I'm told. I get homework every week. The homework isn't that bad, but class is a lot more fun!

When I woke up it was just a normal day. I had my breakfast, and then went outside to do my business. You know what I mean. Anyways, then I waited at home while Mommy went to work. She came back and noon to take me on a walk. It is so cold! It was -13 F when I went. My poor little feet. Anywho, I'm getting off track. When Mommy came home at 5 we got ready to go to class. To tell you the truth I was kinda nervous. When we got there were two BIG Akitas, two labs, a beagle, a Boston Terrior about my age and a dog who I didn't really know the breed. I was between the Boston Terrior and the Beagle. The beagle liked to bark a lot and I was kinda scared of him. His name was Colonel. I think he liked to give orders. When ever he barked I tried to jump into Mommy's lap. The boston terrier was really nice. Her name was Millie! She was kinda cute. (Don't tell, Mom) I can't wait to see her again.

We just started out with the basics. We got clickers and mom would keep saying my name, I'd look at her, I'd hear this weird clicking noise, and then I'd get a treat. It was kinda annoying. I wanted to talk to Millie and Mom would keep saying my name. It was like she didn't want me to talk to her. It was weird. Oh well. It was still fun, and I can't wait to go back!
