Arrival Story:
We were planning to get a boxer to join Beta boy when we moved to Arkansas this summer, and had started putting applications in with members of the boxer clubs in our region. Then our daughters went to a schoolmate's birthday party and the child's mother just happened to be a big boxer lover who is building a name for herself in the boxer community. She is the owner of Pryde Boxers, and we being big boxer lovers just had to meet her boxer boys and girls. We fell in love with this particular puppy in the first litter she had had since 2006. He needs to have the extra eyelashes he was born with surgically removed but other than that he is as happy and healthy as he can be, and he has the laid back personality that we were looking for to complement Beta's style, so we put a down payment on him, and brought him home to meet Beta boy. He has since fit right into our family and become our last addition.

Bio:
Omega is a very characteristic Boxer boy who loves a good romp, tug of war, chew bones, and big cuddles. He gives tons of kisses, has a very sweet reliable temperment, and the excited snort that we love.

In The Life of Omega

Beta is Daddy's Boy, But I am Mom's Boy!

I am up to my usual happy go lucky mischief, tearing into my bones, and fighting off the crazy two-legged people that try to hold me down so I can get my eye drops and cream for the bug bites. Mom says its ironic that Beta the rescue is not attractive to mosquitos, but me the half priced breeder boy happens to be prone to da biting bugs, but I think that is how it is supposed to be cause I am the baby!

It takes 3 to 4 of them to pin me for my daily eye drops, and then they go and rub that antibiotic cream on the sides of my muzzle, and think I am supposed to be grateful to them! NOT!

Then to make matters worse for me, guess what? My vet is worried that I may be gaining too much weight! So now Beta boy and Duncan get their food bowls all day, but not me, I get my bowl a lousy 2 times a day! Get a load of that!

Damn mosquitos, I keep telling them they need to eat just a little bit more, stupid bugs, they just don't listen, eat and run! So while everyone else gets to eat whenever they want, I am on a damn diet!

So, whose butt do I have to kiss to get a burger?

Omega is growing like a weed! And romping like a- tumbleweed!

Lord he and Beta may be typical boxer boys, but for this family they are a constant source of laughter and love!

Omega is at that point in his life where he really just wants to take on every new thing with the same gusto and enthusiasm of a kid. We finally lost count of the number of bath puffs he has taken apart, and the sloppy kisses he has handed out.

The housetraining has been up and down, but he is finally going to sit at the door when he has to get outside. When we get to our new house we are going to put a bell on the backdoor and start bell training him. He seems to have the mentality to do well with that. He has sit and sit/stay, and leave it all down like a religion now.

He has stopped overnighting it in his crate, and is now into sleeping between dad's legs. Sometimes it is hard to tell who snores louder, dad or him!

Introduction...

I was born from a couple of great parents and named as part of the Elvis litter. I did not get a furever home because I have a bad eye, but then I got to introduce myself to my daddy, and he fell in love with me.

So now I am in my furever family. Let's see about me... Hmm... I love peanut butter very much, the kong I have is very cool as long as it has peanut butter in it. I love bully sticks, and doggie pork rinds, and I love Beta.

I love my family, but I really hate their rules. I hate to sit and stay when I find other things to do. I hate to go potty outside when I am busy.

I love my family. The girls love to pet, walk and cuddle with me. I love my mom and dad because they like to hold me and love me. I love Beta because he likes to romp with me. I love the cat Raven because he might just taste like chicken.

I am blinde enough in one eye that sometimes I walk into the wall instead of walking through the door, and I am trying to learn how to figure this whole being a good dog thing out while learning to see through one eye.

I love love love to romp and play, and I am getting really big. Me, dad, and Beta all like to snore on the couch after a long hard day. I got no complaints, except for the sit and stay thing. I don't like the sit and stay, but I love the love I get when I do it right!
