Arrival Story:
I worked for a service dog group in Georgia and we went to an adoption fair to look for any potential service dogs we could adopt to train. Kaya was in a cage at an animal control's section of the adoption fair. The animal control officer informed us that she would be put down the next day if she was not adopted immediately. Although I was not in any postition to adopt a dog, I scooped her up immediately and adopted her without thinking twice. It was the best decision I have ever made.

Bio:
Kaya trained for 6 months to be a service dog for physcially disabled people. Although she was too high-energy to be placed as a service dog, she is still able to perform her service dog commands and can even respond when given non-verbal commands.
