sitting up and having his squeaky ball wrapped. At Christmas time we wrap his ball and put it among all the other presents. He can pick out which one is his and he enthusiastically unwraps it.

I got him when he was about 6 weeks old for my 18th birthday.

He has had Cushing's disease since he was about 8 years old.

Not so good days

Oskar has his days when he appears weak and shows his age. I tell him that he is handsome in a sweet voice. He perks up and looks young again. Recently I think that he and the other dogs have been feeling a little bit unwanted because a lot of the attention is being given to the new puppies (Roxie and Izzy). Fortunately I've been having more time recently to devote to all the dogs. I wrapped Oskar's ball up in pink wrapping paper left over from the puppy shower (see picture). He loved it!
