Going for "by-by's" in the car; going outside for walks; chasing anything that moves (cats, rabbits, squirrels, fox, snakes, turtles, deer, etc.)

Pet-Peeves:
Having my nails clipped, not being able to "catch" what I want to chase (see "Likes" above).

Favorite Toy:
Any soft toy that I can destroy :)

Favorite Food:
The cookies my mommy and daddy get for me from the local pet resort.

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere, I just love to be outside (as long as it isn't too HOT) !!

Best Tricks:
Mommy is teaching me American Sign Language (ASL). I know "What do you want?", "Talk to me", "Good Boy!", "Cookie", "Sit" and "Stay." One of Mommy's Deaf friends even gave me a name sign!!! Mommy taught me how to "talk" (aka howl) for my meals !!

Arrival Story:
After our dear Sasha crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on Sept. 19, 2006, we were so lonely without a dog. After about one month, we began searching the local shelters for another Northern Breed. After checking six local shelters over a period of several weeks, we came across this beautiful face looking for a home. I called that afternoon to inquire about him and later that day, my husband and I drove to the shelter to visit him. He had been brought to the shelter as a stray: no collar, no micro-chip, no tags, but a very sweet disposition. He is a Husky, and aloof he was out in the shelter yard. My husband wanted to "go home and talk about it." That face just melted me though, and on the way home, we turned around, went back to the shelter, and put an application on him. I had an appointment the next morning, to go over our application, and we were approved. After he was neutered, we picked him up and we have been "wrapped around his paw" ever since.

Bio:
I donated blood for over five years to the Eastern Veterinary Blood Bank (EVBB) to help save other dogs' lives !! Because I have to be on certain medications, I can no longer donate.
