I've Been On Dogster Since:
Both grandpawrents love me, and love giving me treats. I think I might even be starting to win over the cat, too!! Even though the girl did leave me behind to go play with the baby WITHOUT me, I still had a great weekend. I hope all you pups had a wonderful holiday!!
Okay pups, you KNOW I am a very good dog, and I do my very BEST to be on my best behavior for Lou. But she pretty much asked for it this time. She's very sweet, but sometimes not so sharp.
So here's the scene:
Lou cooked bacon yesterday. And I don't mean fried up a few strips on the stove top and ate them. She cooked a whole cookie sheet of it in the oven, so the smell had plenty of time to fill the kitchen and get me interested. Something about "bee-ell-tees" for dinner? After it was done, she put the bacon on a plate. Then she headed outside to throw away the greasy paper bag she had put under for cooking.
So there I am all alone in the kitchen, I don't know if Mom's EVER coming back. I did what anypup would do - I ate the plateful of bacon! (I also ate some baked chicken, and the cornflakes Mom rolled the chicken in - I eat when I'm nervous - but that is neither here nor there.)
Now tell me, fellow pups, was I justified?! I think so!!
We're going to see Grandma and Grandpa this weekend!! I'll get to go for rides in Grandpa's truck, and pee in Grandma's flower garden, and terrorize the cat, and run around their big back yard - I'm so excited!! I like Fall a lot, Mommy and I can run around for hours without getting all hot and tired.
I'm finally meeting one of Mom's best friends, Erin, who has something called a "baby bump." Apparently she's had it for like 5 months already, so I hope she's okay. And of course I get to play with cousin Haiden!!
Agility is going well - we learned the A-frame and tunnel last night, and then at the end we strung together the tunnel, A-frame, and a jump all in a row! The tunnel is tricky, because I can't see Mom. I mean, she starts at one end, but I'm supposed to run away from her to the other end! She meets me there, but still... And I don't even get to play with the other dogs, which makes me howlin' mad! Hehehe, I like howling.
