Arrival Story:
In the summer of 2004, we were looking to add a dog to our family. We thought we wanted a breed that didn't shed or shed much, but wasn't too girlie - say a curly-coated retriever. Then we went to Kentucky (Amy's home state) and met Daisy, my (Amy) folks' dog. She was a sweet, fun, cuddly Jack Russell. So now we thought we might look around for Jack Russells and see what we might find. We found Rocky at a breeder in rural Virginia and it was instant love. He was only four-months-old and a charmer. He was energetic, but not hyper. And he was very social. Now years later, he's the most loved member of our family. What Rocky wants, Rocky gets. We're distraught if he doesn't sleep with us at night. The only place off limits is the table top.
