When I went to the Providence Animal Rescue League, Sashi was curled up quietly in her cage while all the other dogs were barking hysterically. "Is something wrong with that dog?" I asked. "No," the shelter staffer replied. "It's 3pm. It's time for her siesta." I learned then that Sashi had her own timetable and didn't care about impressing anyone. My kind of dog.
Bio:
Since I adopted her, I've learned that Sashi knows a host of commands, is a world-champion fetcher, and can catch a fly in mid-air, even when awoken in the middle of the night to reluctantly do so. She is truly the world's coolest dog.
