   Leave a bone for Toby

Nicknames:
Tobyman, Tobes, Stinkypeeface, hey-stop-chasing-the-cat!, the lickinest dog (luv's to lick faces in the morning)

Quick Bio:
-purebred

Likes:
Liver treats, chasing 'his' cats, going to 'shop' at petsmart, pupperoni, tummy rubs, sleeping between his human parents and 'making room' by kicking in the kidneys , walking thru the mud, apples/bananas, chest rubs for relaxation, barking, being top dog

Pet-Peeves:
top: the vet gives him panic attacks, then being moved while sleeping, grooming, bad kitty who scratched his eye

Favorite Toy:
all of them, especially his 'ducky' baby toy, his 'naughty/nice' Santa toy, his "big mean kitty" toy, socks, cat toys, pantyhose-head filled with pillow batting (for that old fashioned gutting the prey feeling, then spreading the batting around the house)

Favorite Food:
Steak, even tho he must be on low residue diet, anything the humans have, catfood, but best is steak steak steak

Favorite Walk:
Petsmart, in the snow, fall leaves, anywhere that other dogs have been, dog parks, beach, "rockclimbing" while visiting a waterfall, running on hills

Best Tricks:
Hula, wave, spin, 'pray' (paws together and a bark ), hiding bones and cookies for the great doggie famine that might happen

Arrival Story:
My partner and I went to visit the petstore near our local Starbucks on our way up to the cascades to see the first snow. We met Toby. His mommy said NO PETSTORE doggies, but fell in luv with Toby. We left the store and went to the mountains. On the way home, we couldn't stand the thought of Toby, the 'lickinest dog', being put back into a crate all alone all night when he was just a little 4 lb baby. We went back and adopted him. His first visit was to Petsmart to buy new doggy supplies where he met his favorite vet tech at Banfield. He now pee's on her everytime he see's her haha. He rode in the child's seat of the cart in a sweater and yawned a lot. It was a very long day for the baby boy.

Bio:
Toby is very dominant minded. He wants to dominate his mommies, his cats, and yet he will be the most submissive angel at the dog park or petsmart when meeting other people and dogs. He meets many dog friends at the store, including giant dogs who just laugh at his topknot and try to pull it out for him, telling him he's not a girl. Everyone who meets him thinks he's a girl and tho he says he's definately not girlie, he is very cute and 'pretty' in his 'handsome' red bow. He hates grooming and loves to bite both for play and for warnings of when he doesn't want to do something. He is very spoiled and bratty. He has been trained in puppy training and click-a-trick. He even learned to play the piano! He said he was too refined to 'bowl' by pushing the ball into the pins, and that piano was more his speed. He does tricks perfect for the 'treat lady' AKA the trainer. He loves his treat lady and wags and smiles a lot when he see's her. We spend a lot of time visiting petsmart for social time and avoiding corners and poles so we don't water the 'trees'. We luv romping in leaves in fall and tunnelling in winter snow. We hate the rain for walking in but luv rides in the car. He hates baths and likes being wrapped in a beach towel afterwards and held to stay warm til he's partially dry, while he sleeps in his other mommy's lap. He loves his man friend who calls him Squirrel (named when he was only 4 lbs and his mommies liked to feed the squirrels). He has a friend named Toby who lives in this complex. His name came to his mommy out of the blue and turned out to be his daddy's name.
