Arrival Story:
We were walking thru the local Petsmart store and they had a bunch of potential adoptable dogs but we wanted a puppy so we got directions from the volunteers to the local shelter. That is where my boyfriend and I fell in love with CeeCee at the shelter. We already had an awesome English Pointer and wanted to find him a new buddy. We stayed at that shelter all day, playing with her, making sure she got along with Cain. We weren't sure if we were going to adopt her that day. The choice had come down to 2 puppies- one black lab puppy and the other one a small blue leopard catahoula. We promised the shelter that we would think it over and come back the next morning. That night we did a lot of research on this breed and the more we read the more we realized the catahoula would be perfect for us. We went back first thing in the morning and found that she was across town at a pet adoptathon. The shelter weren't sure if we were coming back to get CeeCee so had sent her off to the event. We high- tailed cross town to try to find her at the large convention. We kept telling ourselves that if we did find her there, we knew she would be the one for us. Luckily, my boyfriend found her and I adopted her. She is the one! We did find out later that both her parents were catahoulas. Apparently she had an incredible story...she came from Idaho and a lady from AZ was checking out some property in Idaho and she found CeeCee and her littermate tied to a post in the snow, five other puppies from the litter were frozen in the snow. The woman brought CeeCee back to a shelter in AZ and luckily we found her at our local shelter to whom we are very thankful. CeeCee brings a smile to everyone who sees her. Actually she is a big fat clown.
Bio:
I was found in an empty lot with my sister Maisy and my mommy and daddy in Idaho by a very nice lady. My parents were tied to a post in the snow and my other 5 sisters and brothers didnt make it because it was so cold. My sister Maisy was born 100% blind and deaf, luckily she was adopted. She was a lot bigger than I was, but I'm sure i could give her a run for her money now. I was flown on a special plane just for me to Arizona and after staying at my foster home for a bit to grow bigger and stronger I was sent to the Animal Welfare League in Phoenix, which is a no-kill shelter. I was then adopted literally 2 days later. Mommy gave me some extra loving today like she always tries to do. Daddy is quite surprised as well. Treats for CeeCee!

Mommy has been sleeping alot and have been getting a lot wider with many more frequent pee breaks at night. I watch over her all the time. Something is definitely going on. Summer in AZ is very warm, my brother, Cain and I like to lay on the cool tile to keep from overheating. I'm going to get a new human brother sometime in November!
