She would lay her head on your lap with her big lips wagging . her whole body to let you know she wanted to be peted. Besides doing her job out in field and pointing brids she use to like to point air planes. She was part hiemlock ryhmen and part grouse ridge. Her grandad jack was a field trial dog. Her great great grandad was on the cover of Gun dog (old blue).

Bio:
Bear was a great dog . My mom was reading the newspaper one day and saw a Shep puppy to go a good home add. We thought about and my mom called the lady. But before we got a chance to ask about the puppy the women said she adopted her out but she had an older dog around 6 years old that was a shep as well. She had to get rid of her b/c she was moving into a new apartment and she couldn't have to many dogs. So bear came home with us a few days later. She was told us that when she found bear that bear had been running around by a paper factory and looked really really skinny so she took her home. We took bear to the vet to get checked and the vet said she was around 10 years old and her hearing was gone in one ear that was damaged from an old ear infection. She tried to get alone with willow who liked to growl at her but towards the end the two bonded enough they'd lay down on the same bed during the day (bear slept upstairs at night).
