Bella: The Center of Attention

Playing dress-up...

Finally! Mommy has figured out what I'm going to be for Halloween... "Tinkerbella"! She bought the fabric over the weekend and started sewing last night. I'm pretty impressed, considering it's the first thing she's ever sewn.

She really wanted me to be Snow White... but the "small" costume she ordered online was big enough to fit a Cocker Spaniel. Same thing with the Genie outfit she bought... JUST TOO BIG!

I'm going to wear my Tink costume for the Pet Walk-a-Thon on the 29th. A bunch of my puppy pals have already signed up... so I'm really looking forward to it. (I'll be sure to post pictures!)

Mommy & Jorge have me in "training"... yesterday afternoon we went to the park and I walked 2 miles without skipping a beat. Boy, did I surprise them!

Well... I'd better get going. The final debate is tonight... W '04!!!

Good eats, tasty treats & baseball!

After work today, Mommy took me out on the town for a girls' night out. We had lots of fun! :o)

First stop: PETsMART!!!

Mommy bought me an Outward Hound car seat... because I keep slipping out of my seatbelt harness (I'm just too little for it). She also got me a yummy new dry food, Nutro Lamb Meal & Rice SMALL BITES. I scarf that stuff down! Then (for when I'm really good) she bought me P-Nuttier Dog Treats from Old Mother Hubbard. Mmm! Mmm! If all of that wasn't enough... I got a little stuffed ducky toy. I knew she couldn't stay mad at me for long!!!

Then we went to the drive-thru at Starbucks... for Mommy, of course. My friend there had a couple of dog biscuits waiting when we pulled up to the window to pay... I love it when people are that thoughtful!

After a quick stop at Boston Market, we headed home to watch some baseball. What an exciting game! Mommy & I are pulling for the Twins... they are "our boys", at least that's what Mommy always says. (I have a feeling it's 'cause Grandpa is from Minnesota.) This game didn't end as well as the first one... but there's still time to whoop those Yanks. I believe!!!

Well, it's really late and Mommy has to get up early for a meeting tomorrow.

Ok, I really think I've done it this time! I'm just not too sure that I can get by on the cute looks much longer.

Mommy put me out on the patio last night so I could play before bedtime. But then she just left me there... with those stupid birds! I figured there was probably a good time waiting to be discovered just beyond the fence. So I snuck out of the hole in the screen (yeah, I've always known it was there). I didn't mean any harm... honest!

Well, when she came to put me in my crate... I was gone. I'm sure she was worried about me. When she opened the front door to get in the car to find me... there I was, waiting on the porch for her to let me in! You'd think she'd have been happy to see me... but she was really a bit upset.

I hope she knows how sorry I am... I gave her a ton of kisses to prove it.

I promise I'll be better...
