Arrival Story:
Rocky belonged to our neighbors. He and Ares used to chase each other along the fence & knew each other quite well. One day, our neighbors put their house up for sale. They asked if we could watch him while folks looked at the house. One Saturday afternoon, my husband came home & said they asked him if we could take Rocky. Was that OK with me? Of course it was!! I've never regretted it.
Bio:
Rocky was a little bit needy when we first brought him home, and he needed to get used to cats, but that did'nt take very long!!
In late 2009, Rocky ate some grapes and ended up toxic from them. He ended up with diabetes, so now he needs insulin shots. In early 2010, he went blind from the diabetes. However, with all of our help, he was adapting. On October 25, 2011, he had a stroke, and we knew it was That Time, so we helped him over The Bridge.
