JULIA-GOOLIA!

I HAVE A NEW SISTER EVERYONE!! Her name is Julia. She's great! Finally I have someone to wrestle with! And man, can she wrestle!! We go crazy... mom already has bruises on her legs because we keep bumping into her (and we both have REALLY hard heads)! I can't tell you how much I love her! There are sometimes when I don't really LIKE her though... like when she steals my nylabones...get your own Julia!! I get her back though. I ripped the stuffing out of her favorite toy that she brought from her "rescue-home." Take that! Ha!

MY BIRTHDAY!!

I'M ONE YEARS OLD TODAY! Can you believe it?! I can't. I don't want to grow up...I like all this puppy stuff! I get to play all day and destroy toys... such fun. Well, I'm going to go enjoy my birthday! Woo hoo!

OOPS!

Wow, my Mom is REALLY mad at me today!! Lately they've been letting me have free roam when they are not home and I've been such a good girl... but being a good girl can be BORING! So today I decided to spice things up a little bit: I ATE DAD'S LEATHER JACKET! I just ripped the whole wrist off of the sleeve, nothing radical, but Mom is sooooo mad at me. I don't like when she is mad at me. I curl up on the floor and put my ears back and avoid all eye contact. I know I shouldn't have eaten the jacket, but it was RIGHT THERE! Come on, I'm a dog!!

I can't even imagine how mad my DAD is going to be!!! Oh no!! Plus he has a much meaner voice than Mom. Even when Mom is mad, her voice is still nice sounding... Dad's is deep and scary!! Plus, I'm his little girl... he is going to be so disappointed in me. Man, I messed up! Pray that he decides that he doesn't like his jacket anymore, before he comes home from work!!

Bella and Luna

I am DYING to play with my new family members, Bella and Luna! ** Check out their pages - they are too cute! ** I don't know much about them yet since they have only been in the family for a couple of days... not to mention they live all the way down in Florida! I'm not jealous though... I GET TO PLAY IN THE SNOW! I love the snow, but sometimes my feet get too cold so I try to run without touching them to the ground... haven't gotten it to work yet, though. There must be some trick my Mom's not telling me!

Anyway, back to Bella and Luna... my Mom says we are going to go see them soon! I can't wait! They are already around 20 pounds (I think Bella is more, though... she's a food-hog!)... so they will be great for me to wrestle with! The 2 of them, against me (45 pounds), should be an equal match! And I hear they like to wrestle... which is MY MOST FAVORITE THING IN THE WHOLE WORLD! I could wrestle all day if the other dog lets me! This is going to be so fun!! I love having new family!!

NEW FAMILY MEMEBERS! WOO HOO!

I AM SOOOO EXCITED!! My grandpa is driving to pick up two new additions to our family tree: two eight week old American Bulldog puppies! Since my doggie-aunt Snowie passed away, my human-aunt (my mom's sister) has been really lonely. And my grandpa really misses his baby (my mom's doggie-sister) Sasha, who was a Rottweiler. So I'm getting a new doggie-aunt and doggie-cousin!!! I am going to have to take a long drive or fly down with my mom to visit them!

And even better, my mom says she is now considering getting ME a SIBLING to play with!! We are both working really hard to convince my dad. He's not so sure about it. Silly dad! He just likes to cuddle with me and thinks that it wouldn't be fair to have to share his love. But I keep trying to tell him, dad, you're great and all, but I need a 4-legged friend to wrestle with! (Dad doesn't like to rumble in the mud with me... I don't know why!)

Why I am the best guard dog ever!

This morning Mom made blueberry muffins. I LOVE BLUEBERRY MUFFINS! So, just to make sure no one stole them, I sat right in front of the oven. No one even tried to come near... I'm such a good guard dog! Then I served as my Mom's bodyguard and walked with her as she carried the plate of muffins. Needless to say, she HAD to give me some!

Unfortunately, this crazy dog (who Mom says is actually "a mirror" - I don't know what that means) tried to steal some. I had to do what I had to do... I barked and barked and tried to pounce on her, until she finally went away. I should get paid for being this good! Instead, I'll just walk around all day wagging my tail proudly.

Tough day today

I tell you what... I lead a VERY tough life! I slept for hmm... about all day today. But can you blame me... it was raining all day! That's what I'm supposed to do when it's raining. Plus, mom says the rain makes me stink like wet dog! Not to worry though, because every time mom jumps in the shower I jump in too. So I'm always a clean girl. I really just like to paw and bite the water, but mom thinks I like to be clean. Silly mom!

Anyway, the good news is, I think I'm closer to finding a way to eat those treats that my parents keep in this thing they call a "fish tank." I don't know what these so-called "fish" are, but boy do they look yummy! I think my mom and dad should just give me one... I've been a very good girl. And plus, I look at them every day! I would think they would get a clue!

Well, I have to get back to sleeping. The sound of the rain is very soothing....
