I see our human has been very remiss ! I'll have to dock her pay I think [not really] :0)
Our human went away for a long holiday late last year and we got looked after by 'dad' who stayed home from work to keep us company. Not too long before she went away - Rosie The Wicked - had babies for me. Amongs them was Marmalade who decided she would stay here with us. I loooooooooooove Marmalade. She is daddy's little Princess. We like going just about everywhere together.
My granddad died not so long ago, so I might go and stay with my uncle Sam and his human for a little while to help to cheer them up. I will be back so dont miss me too much.

ermmmm . . . . . [again]
Have you all seen my lovely blonde daughter "Shimmer" ?
Her brothers and sister, have gone out into the big wide world and are doing very well for themselves. Makes a father proud.
I'm glad Shimmer stayed here with us - we have such fun together.
The big news is that I am going to be a daddy again !
RosePetal is blossoming [pardon the pun].
I do love furkids. I taught the last furkids to D.I.G as well as I do, hope I can do it again !

er - hemmm
since last writing in my diary I have become a DADDY
I now have 5 - yes FIVE - children.
One looks just like me. All shiny black and all boy :0))
Not quite sure what to make of it all yet as the childrens' mother wont let anyone near them except the humin.
Rosie wants to be their 'nanny' and take care of them, and they're nearly big enough she says. So I guess I'll need to speak to the humin pretty soon and make arrangements.

Having to apologise for humins is a pain - so in order to not have to do it again, I have sacked our humin from the job of being sechitery. She kept on missing messages. She's still pretty good in her role as head of catering, so I'm gonna ask my cousin Rosie to be sechitery instead and keep an eye on messages.
Hope you've been to meet my cousins Inky and Rosie, who have finally joined us at "Dogster". I'll see if Rosie can get some more of the family added, but Rosie is being extra bossy at the moment, so I'm approachin her with caution. Our humin says she's due in season and is hormonal - whatever that is. Makes her cranky is all I know.
My sister Min has been going to more dog shows with us lately. She deosn't win as many ribbons as me and Inky, but face it - she's a girl and a bit slow on the idea of having to WORK at shows. Rosie wins things like me and Inky but Rosie isn't like a lot of other girls. She's an adventuress and I think she's pretty neat.

Last week, our humin mum took me, my cousin Inky, Grandma Treefa and great Uncle Sunny, to a big dog show. It must have been a huge 'deal' because there were humins everywhere and we had big wooden benches to sit on. Our humin mum took quilts and pillows for us to sit on so we were comfy. We had a judge who liked me (of course !) and I won lots of ribbons. Cousin Inky, and grandma Treef won some ribbons too, but not as many as I did. After the run around the ring and people clapping for me - (as they should of course) - we had to sit on the benches for aaaaaaages . . . . . with all the humins looking at us. I got ever so bored with looking back at humins,
so I went to sleep.
My baby sister was at the show with her new humin family - she likes strange humins much better than I do. She got lots of pats and stuff.
I went to sleep !
A TV camera came and pointed at me and my ribbons -
I went to sleep.

Well what a day this has been ! I've been groomed to within an inch of my tail. Coming up in a few days is the Perth Royal Show. I have to look good.
My 'job' around here, is to look good and be a show dog some weekends.
My mum thinks I can become a *STAR*. I somtimes get emails from other Salukis.
In between shows I get to dig in the garden (rarely appreciated) but I'm very good at digging, I can dig a mighty hole in a very short time. My mum calls them arkylogikal digs ! I find things buried quite often.
I also get to run in a huge paddock where bunnies have been but the only thing I caught yet, was a butterfly
OK gotta go it's nearly my bedtime.
