Arrival Story:
This adorable little blue boy was left to die on the side of the road and spent several days lying in a ditch by himself. Some passerby's brought him food and water but everyone was too scared to pick him up. Thankfully, someone finally realized that this poor dog was shell shock from his terrible ordeal but just about as sweet and friendly as can be. Gonzo was brought to an emergency vet clinic where he was diagnosed with a tibia fracture. Gonzo is now in a splint and recuperating in a loving home. He couldn't be anymore grateful. Gonzo is fostered in a home with two other dogs, two cats and a 2 year old toddler He does very well with all of them. Gonzo can now walk on his own, though he spends most of his time laying down, resting. He is house broken and so far has been no trouble at all in his foster home. Gonzo's foster mom says that he is very sweet and wants to be by her side all the time. He does his best to follow her around in the house and be in the same room as her when he can. He is not bothering the cats and lets them rub on him like long time friends. Gonzo is patient and tolerant of the toddler in house and perks up with a smile when the little guy is nearby.
