Arrival Story:
Blarney is in foster care in a home with young children and a female dog. There is also a cat in the home and so far Blarney seems a little too interested in the cat to try an intro. He was abandoned at a vet clinic. They found him skinny and diagnosed with heart worms. Blarney is roomie to a female pit mix - he has not met her yet. There is a cat in the house but he would do best w/out one around. He does beautifully with anyone that is human - big or small. There are 3 small kids in the house and constant guests coming in and out. He is not a guard dog. Blarney is in the beginning stages of leash training. Due to the heartworm treatment we don't go on long walks yet. He is crate trained and pretty well house broken. He can sit. Blarney is pretty well laid back and is excepting of anyone. Right now we are just in healing mode and do a lot of lounging around the house. I have yet to hear him bark. He is a very quiet guy for now. We will see if that changes when he feels better.
