Meet our strikingly handsome sable and white Border Collie, Dakota. We have all fallen in love with this boy and we know that some lucky adopter will, too. Dakota's foster mom is heavily involved in canine agility and training and brags about what an intelligent and graceful dog Dakota is. Here is what she has to say about her star pupil: "...Dakota was originally found as a stray in Ft Worth by a nice lady who contacted Tassie's Hope for help. He is about 2 yrs. old now. Dakota is HOUSETRAINED, crate trained, and is very good at walking on the leash. He knows how to sit, lie down, play dead, shake either paw, beg and go to his crate on command. Dakota is a VERY smart and VERY active dog. He will need someone who is willing to continue training him, and will keep him active, both mentally and physically. He would be an ideal prospect for canine sports. Dakota loves to ride in the car and loves being with his people. He is very easy to groom (and enjoys the attention)..." Dakota is neutered, current on shots and on monthly heartworm preventative. Our adoption fee is $175.
