I should have known that a trip in the car in the wee hours of a weekday morning wouldn't be good. I had surgery today -- a palate trim. I'm feeling o.k. right now but I sure am thirsty. Mom's only letting me take super small slurps of water. Man, if only I were taller -- then I could try to dip into the toilet. Things will be cool tomorrow -- I'm gonna hit the sack.

My Tail of Devotion for Zeus Carlton

Joose-monster! My boy! Everyone, and I do mean everyone, thought I was nuts when I brought you home with me. Your butt was bald; like a baboon. You were scrawny and, honestly, a little gross. What you needed was some TLC. We gave you some TLC along with some medications and some treats. What you've given in return is truly unconditional love. Oh, you may be a little neurotic sometimes (aren't we all) and just a tad needy but you love us. Not only do you love us but you like us, you really like us! You're a pal, a jovial, sweet pal who just wants to be part of our everyday lives. If only you knew what a big part of our lives you are! Truth be told, when you stay at the neighbors house, we miss you. A lot.

This is a special Tail of Devotion

My posse...

Mom put a photo of my posse on the page today. As you can tell by my facial expression, I am more than thrilled to hang out with a bunch of snooty felines all day long. They are sooooo pretentious (do I have that spelled right, it's an awfully big word for a guy like me). I have to chuckle because Dexter, the oversized orange pillow, was "accidentally" locked in the bathroom today by Dad. Right....it was an accident...I know that Dad is on my side when it comes to those cats. He and I have to stick together. At least when he was locked away he couldn't get to my food. That fat blockhead will not stay out of my crunchy food. What's with that? He doesn't get enough of his own stuff? He's obviously not starving to death...it's oh so obvious. And while I'm divulging these buried emotions toward the cats...if that girlie-girl Carmen does not stop swatting me on the head I'm gonna....well, I'm not sure what I'll do, but it's getting on my last nerve. Those are the only two that really bug me. Calvin's o.k. but I'm not sure that he can really see me. He's got crazy eyes. Not going in different directions crazy like mine -- it's worse and he has to get drops...poor guy. All in all they're not too bad, they tolerate me so I tolerate them. Once in awhile we even share some sun.
