Arrival Story: Blossom originally came from a high kill rural KY shelter. She was adopted out through Rogers' Rescues in 2004 and due to no fault of her own, is back in foster care with Rogers' Rescues. Bio: Blossom is one sweet girl! She has impeccable in-house manners: completely housebroken, doesn't counter surf, doesn't beg, has no desire to jump on furniture or beds and just wants to be where you are! She's been thru basic obedience class and knows most of the basic commands such as sit, down, and leave it. She doesn't chew things inappropriately although occasionally she does feel your slippers or your socks need to be in another room!! But there they sit, unscathed. Blossom would love a calmer home with or without other dogs. She gets along well with other dogs and even enjoys to romp in the yard with them! She doesn't appreciate very high strung dogs however. They make her nervous and barky, so calmer, well adjusted dogs are in order for Blossom. Blossom is ready to find a new family that will cherish her for the wonderful, loyal, labby girl that she is.
