Gracie's favorite toy is her round rope toy from "Three Dog Bakery" that has her name on the bottom. Thank you Aunt Michelle!

Favorite Walk:
Gracie's favorite walk is back by the shed where the bunnies and the moles live. Smells very good. She also loves to run at her Aunt Michelle's farm. 20 acres to sniff and play.

Arrival Story:
Gracie is a merle Great Dane rescued through MAGDRL (Mid Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League) in PA. She arrived in our home on April 24, 2004. Gracie was owned by an elderly couple in Pittsburgh, PA, however, they had to move in with their son who didn't want Gracie coming along. The day before I found out Gracie was available for adoption, I finished reading the book "Amazing Gracie"... about a deaf Great Dane named... Gracie. The VERY next day the adoption coordinator called me and told me they had a Dane available... and her name was Gracie. I just knew it was meant to be. Our lives have never been so happy. She is the light of my life and we love her to death! Gracie adores her Aunt Michelle and her Grandma Phyllis, and she loves to visit her grandparent's farm in Lebanon, PA. Lots of chickens to bark at!

Bio:
Gracie is sharing her home with 2 rescued kitties (Gigi and Ruby) and 2 cock-a-poos (Dexter and Trevor). All get along well. Gracie was "smacked" by one of the kitties upon arrival at our home, so ever since then, she has respected the cats and usually does a back-pedal when they are near. Very funny to watch!
