Front Runner

My first visit to the dog park!!

Last weekend, I had more fun than I could possibly explain. Mom and Dad took us to a dog park for the first time. They took my frisbee so that we could play. I love my frisbee so much that when they are carrying it with them, I stare at it the whole entire time. It really throws off my concentration. I guess you could say I am pretty obsessed with it.
It has rained so much here lately, I think we are going to have to build an ark!! That said, as we got inside the park, I found 2 mudholes and ran for the first one I found. I plopped down and rolled in it and then rolled some more. I wanted to be in the mudhole more than I wanted to play with my frisbee!! I lost my frisbee in the mudhole twice!!! Dad had to fish it out, because it was so covered with the mud that I couldn't find it by myself.
When we got ready to leave, I was COMPLETELY covered in mud. Mom and Dad were absolutely kicking themselves for leaving the camera at home. I think I have found a new source of fun!!! I can't wait to go back!!!

Issues in Dominance

Wow!!! This week has been interesting. We got a new brother. He is big!!! I have been really frustrated, because I am the "alpha" dog, but I am finding it really hard to assert my dominance. That's kind of tough to do when you have to look up at the dog you're supposed to be "dominant" over. My mommy thinks this is really funny to watch. I am not so amused. I think he knows who's boss, though, because he's always real nice to me. I think it's kind of cool having a big bro. Weird thing, though....He does have some kind of extension on his back end. I hear it's called a tail. Sometimes, he whaps me and Angus in the face with it when he's real excited and mommy laughs until she nearly falls out of the chair. We get along real well though. She thinks me, Angus, and Boba are the coolest dogs ever!!!!
