A Visit to Our World

Veronica & Picadilly's Visit

WooHoo!!! We had some visitors to our house this evening. We met Vee & Piccy by their car for a little bit and then went into a fenced yard so we could be off-leash and get to know each other a little better. It was a rather chilly and windy day, so we all moved into the house fairly soon.

Mom had to laugh cuz the girls roamed around checking everything out and then immediately jumped on the back of the sofa. Winsty & Kipper were right!!! The girls love those high "safe" places. BOL

Mom never managed to get a pic of all of us together cuz everyone moved around too much. hahaha That means we were all having a wonderful time together though. Even though Vee & Piccy didn't want to play with Domino & I, they did let mom and dad pet them quite a bit. Mom won their hearts by giving them some chicken treats and then some CHEESE while the adults were eating dinner!!! Piccy sure thought she wanted to eat with the adults. She kept jumping up into chairs at the table. BOL Somehow we don't think she really wanted red or green enchiladas--even if they did have hamburger or chicken or more cheese!!!!

After dinner, the Newmans followed mom down to our shop--Adorable Pooches. Sheryl looked around a bit. Piccy found some treats right away that she though mom ought to buy for her!!! hahahaha

We are pooped puppies now. We sure enjoyed seeing Vee & Piccy and their mommy and daddy!!! We want to know who will visit next??????

Calendar pups

Last year mom made a photographic calendar for daddy to hang in his office. He wanted one this year too. Mom printed up 8x10 prints on the photo printer and then did the months. Daddy's work was able to do the special binder on it all. The girls at the office all said it was a beautiful calendar and they wanted one for their office too. Flattery will get them everywhere. heehee So mom printed up a 2nd one. While half of the pictures are Domino & I together, we take turns on the other 6 months.

Mom said daddy will have to help her get more pics of us this year to put on next year's calendar!!! Uh Oh Sounds like clothes, costumes and props--and baths and comb outs!!!!!

We're ready to visit a petting zoo

Mom thinks we may do okay visiting a children's petting zoo before much longer!!! hahahaha

We live just outside of the city limits of our town and people in our neighborhood have horses, chickens, etc. Our neighbors right across the road have a horse, mules and now 2 donkeys. The newest donkey is just 7 months old (a baby!!!) and is really cute. We met him once with his human daddy around a while back.

Mom has been taking us on 1 mile walks every day (wellllllllll, almost everyday) along our road and back. Daddy came to meet us during Christmas vacation and got pics of us walking and then visiting the baby donkey. At 1st the donkey was a little afraid of us. That's cuz Suzy tends to get too excited about meeting anybody or anything!!! BOL But, Suzy settled down and we walked over to the corner of the pen. The donkey came over and put his head down to sniff us. We sniffed him too. Suzy really really wanted to play with that donkey. Mom says the donkey doesn't know how to play with small fluffy doggies. Anyway, we got some pics as proof that we all met. Pretty cool, huh?!?!?!?!

Soooooo, we're thinking that if we keep meeting all these different animals, we'll be ready for the zoo before long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahahaha
