Dogster stats for Blue (In loving memory)
4 times 17
Puppy Gump, Bubby Boy, Buddy, Blue Boo
Chasing squirrels or birds, trips to grandma's house and riding in the truck as long as it's not to the vet, birdseed
Not getting to ride in the truck as often, trips to the vet, house flies and mosquitos, pedicures, not too crazy about baths either but feels better after they are done
Stuffed Squirrel, groundhog & skunk, soccer ball
Most anything, he gets Beneful and doggie chews & treats
In a huge field by our house
He shakes, knows his commands in English and German, is an excellent soccer player
We found him with Brooke & Kelsey just dumped in the middle of no where. See Brooke's bio for the whole story. He had a cracked femur but thankfully it healed and the bone fused together. He wasn't always cross-eyed and we figure he got that way looking at our neighbors dog through the knot holes in the fence. The crossed eyes happened later in life. The vet says he can see fine and he never bumps into anything.
He is a funny and very sweet dog. He likes to lay his head in your lap and look up at you with those crossed eyes. Camera one, camera two is what we always say as he switches from eye to eye. He is very active and likes to go for walks and or runs. He is very protective of the house and us and his sisters. We are so blessed to have him.

We had to say goodbye to our dear son and friend Blue on April 16, 2005. He had been mopey so we took him to the vet. He colasped on the table and passed away. The vet suspects that he had a tumor that burst or failure with his major organs. We didn't want an autopsy performed. He was never even sick before so it was a complete shock. We are still crying over him and it has been so hard. Kelsey and Brooke lost their brother and for weeks wondered if he was coming home. He gave us so much joy. He would follow us around the yard as if inspecting our yard work and planting of plants. He did get to meet our first born son and he kept trying to take his little hat off. That is a precious memory for us and there are so many more. Nothing can ever prepare you for the loss of a dear friend and companion. He wasn't just a dog, he was and will always be our family. Our only comfort is that we gave him a good life and loved him dearly. That does not ease the pain but we know he is in heaven waiting for us.
For all of you who have lost a loved one. Our deepest sympathy and we hope all his friends will remember him.
