Arrival Story:
A lady was trying to sell him at Petsmart on 2/2/08. She said he was the last of the litter and she really couldn't keep him so she'd sell him for the bargain price of $350. Petsmart wanted to kick her out but first I had her talk to the director of the animal rescue group I volunteer with so she could explain to the woman the option of turning him over to the group if she truly couldn't keep him. The woman said "thank you" and left and I assumed we'd never see her again. I thought about the Chihuahua puppy all night because I worried that she'd just hand him over to the first person who would pay her, with no regard to whether or not they were a good home. Lo and behold, she came back to Petsmart the next day (2/3/08 SuperBowl Sunday) and turned him over to our group. I got a phone call saying, "Come pick up your new foster dog." He went from foster dog to my very own dog on 3/2/08 when I officially adopted him.
