Washington Park in Denver, hiking at Red Rocks, and swimming in the Boulder Reservoir.

Best Tricks:
Matilda can climb trees and likes to sit in them. Every day she goes swimming in Wash Park.

Arrival Story:
My last dog Parker was 1/2 Border Collie 1/2 Scottie Terrier. He got cancer when he was 2 years old and I was heart broken because he was so so young and hadn't a chance to live to be old. After he passed away I realized I was terribly lonely without a dog around so I drove on a whim with my friend to a farm in the middle of Colorado where I met Matilda, her brother and her parents. She was very shy and had massive pink freckles all over her nose. She looked a lot like Parker with more white fur, and so I chose her. Her aunt Anne actually was the one who named her.

Bio:
Matilda had another name for 2 days before it became Matilda. I had named her McKinlay after my favorite character in the movie Wet Hot American Summer, but it just didn't suit my dog's personality. The older Matilda got, the weirder things she did and so Matilda turned out to be the perfect name for her.
