She loved whatever you wanted to throw. She just didn't always feel like bringing it all the way back.

Aforementioned bits o'donut, homemade lamburger stew, and, alas, occasional stolen treats from the catbox. :P
Favorite Walk:
Down to the end of Clay Street, where the lawn at the First Christian Church has the best scratchy grass for rolling. Or the other direction, to the bakery, where the patrons fed her bits o' donut.
Best Tricks:
Knowing the difference between talking (weird growly noises) and speaking (barking). Also a funny simulated purr that she picked up from the cat.
Arrival Story:
We were driving home from the coast, and making up dog names. Moxie Malone seemed like a good name. We went around a turn in the road and Boom! there was the sign, puppies for sale. The litter was in trouble - some of the puppies had caught cold - but she was healthy. She roly-polied her way over to my mother & untied her shoelaces. Hello, Moxie! We took her home at 5 weeks and she wrapped her furry golden self around our lives for 14 wonderful years.
