Arrival Story:
Well Jack & Jill were a package deal. They are brother & sister; I know they look nothing alike! While I was looking for my last dog that had ran away. While I was at the Dallas City Pound I found 2 adorable balls of fluffy with hyper active tongues and matching birth marks (black spots on their tails). I asked about adopting the pups and was informed they were to be Euthanized!!! They were only 9 weeks old! This really pissed me off. I called my city council person and demanded that they do something. They explained the pups were too sick for adoption. However, she made the adoption happen! I signed a billion forms and of course paid the fees; I took them to my vet immediately where they hospitalized for every puppy sickness you can have. Coxcidia, Parvo, Kennel Cough, Mange, and Worms. After about $200.00 in adoption fees, $2,200.00 in Vet Bills, and $300.00 for puppy school they are our kids. Two years later they spend just about every waking moment with me, on me, or chasing the squirrels.....lol.
