Birthday time again!

I am 4 years old now, and while I haven't gotten any bigger, my beautiful hair continues to grow and flows on the floor when I walk. My best birthday present was a squirrel- I have been guarding the house by barking at them whenever they come on our deck- and I finally got one! I didn't know they had squeakers in them though.
My little sister Gemma shares everything with me, and she is good to cuddle with on chilly days. I couldn't romp through leaves because it is too hard to get them out of my coat, but I know I will be able to play in snow again this winter.
Did you see me in Women's Health? I can't understand why agents haven't called me with more photo and acting offers...

I have not written in a long time so here is a quick update.
I am 3 1/2 years old now. Sadly, after being sick for a long time, my big sister Chamomile went over the Rainbow Bridge last year. My baby sister, Gemma, has been with us 3 years now. We do everything together, and I try to teach her things (like fetch) but she does not always listen to me. She is pretty cute though.

I Am One Year Old!

Gee, having a birthday is fun! Mommy sang to me and gave me a Birthday Bear toy. Then she baked a special cookie for me in the shape of a big bone. It was enormous so I let Cami and Gemma have some when they came to my party. Gemma is such a baby- she thought the bear was for her too. Mommy says she will have a 6 month birthday in just 4 days, so I let her play with it for a little while. Check out my new picture- it was taken last month but I look pretty much the same now, and I still weigh 3.1 pounds, or I did, before my cookie. Ymmm...

Oh, I almost forgot. I saw snow for the first time and I had fun playing in it and eating it too. Then it started to stick to me and Mommy had to warm up my face hair to get the ice out.

At Last!

I have been looking for friends to play with (Cami still doesn't play even though I bring my toys to her) and while I have met many bunnies and squirrels and opossums and birds and turtles and even some kittens and dogs- I still have been kind of sad not to have someone full time. [Did I mention I go to work with my Mommy and that is where are the animals and some really nice people are?] Well, now I have a baby sister. We actually are related, though I don't get that whole family tree thing. She is 6 months younger than me, but she really knows how to play! And even if she takes toys right out of my mouth, that's okay, because she really is good fun. I'll tell you more about her soon.

All Better

Sorry I haven't written in a while but they took that big thing off my leg and I've been running around and playing. It was a little scary at first, so I just held my leg straight out, but then I started to bend it and it seemed okay. Mommy said it looked like a chicken bone because it had been shaved and had no hair, but it is growing back now so it doesn't look so funny.
Anyway, it is my 6 month birthday and Mommy says the only thing that really has grown a lot is my hair. She weighed me again last week and I was still just a smidge over 2 pounds. Well, I am small boned, aren't I?
Chamomile still won't play, but she lets me be next to her when we are getting treats or taking a nap. She sure knows how to tell time- she reminds Mommy when it is time for dinner every day. I don't talk as much as she does, but I do have fun running around and pretend barking every afternoon. But I know I have to be quiet at work and when I'm travelling places in my bag.

Boo Boo

Mommy warned me not to jump around so much and I should have listened. I landed with my paw bent backwards and I broke my leg- boy did that hurt! I went to see some very nice doctors and they took care of me. See how I look in the pictures. [I still run around and leap even with that big thing on.]

A Little Lonely

I used to sleep with my whole family, but now I am alone in a crate. I cried for the first 2 nights, even though Mommy gave me a warm "Bedtime Buddy" to snuggle with. Then Mommy put the crate right next to her bed and I feel better so now I lay down and go right to sleep!

Are You My Mommy?

I have a new home. It was sad to say goodbye to my family but I think my new mommy and sister will take good care of me. I have a big Yorkie sister too. Her name is Chamomile I rushed right up to jump on her and play, but she turned away. She did let me eat her food though.
Another sister came to visit me! She does not live here but she visits and brings her Yorkie too (though not this time). She brought me a travel bag, and bones, and played with me a lot. She said she will bring her Yorkie next time. I sure hope Truffle will play with me too!

The nice lady came back and she brought someone else with her- a very nice girl who played with me too. They want me to go home with them!!!

A Visit

A very nice lady came to see me today. She sat down on the floor and played with me, one of my pup friends, my aunt and grandmother- but I could tell she liked me best. She didn't care that I sometimes slip or hold my back leg up. I gave her kisses and let her rub my belly. I hope she comes again.
