@@@ADOPT 2010 CONTEST@@@ I had just recently lost my dog Kiwi, who was a Chow and my boyfriend thought I should have another dog. So he invited Mikey and his family to come visit so that I could meet Mikey. Mikey's family had decided that he was too much trouble to take care of and so if I didn't adopt him, they were going to take him to the pound. When Mikey and his family came over I didn't know that was the plan and I thought Mikey was a nice Little dog, but I had always had Big dogs. So when Mikey's family got ready to leave, my boyfriend asked me what I thought of Mikey and I said he's nice, "Why?" And he said "because I want you to have him." And after being with Mikey just a little while, I was a goner, he turned out to be my little Teddy Bear. I had him for almost 9 years and I still miss him. I guess the reason Dogs and Cats don't live very long is so that we can be blessed by meeting and loving a whole bunch of them!
