Duke's Den!

Moms taking over

I'm just trying to get my head straight and remember what Duke's and I schedule is

I get off work at 7am, come home at about 7:10am
Let Duke out of his kennel, take him to go potty
come back in, change/scoop the cat litter while Duke plays with the cats
Feed cats
Get them fresh water
Feed Duke by hand
By 8am, Duke is kenneled and I sleep.

Mike wakes up around 10am, 11ish and let's Duke out to go potty. Plays with him and takes him with him to go where ever until I wake up around 3-4ish

I think I need to pick a time we go for a walk and when we'll be back to stick to. And then after the walk we can practice his commands for 30mins-an hour. I'm not sure what time would be best. Probably around 4pm when I wake up, then we can be gone until 5 or 6.

Too many big dogs!

Whew yesterday we went to my grandparents house and Boo my neice was tied up outside.
Thank you doggy gods! She nips me too much, it's upsetting.
But when we walked in, this huge white dog got right in my face! They called her Lily and she kept growling at me when I wasn't doing anything. Mom didn't like her either, she kept correcting the growls though.
Then Boo was brought inside WHY OH WHY!
They both trampled me, they knocked me down and Boo was nipping at me all over. I got so upset so I started to fight back. They were playing, but I wasn't. It hurt!
Mom rushed over though and pulled them away. I spent most of the time there up in the air when Boo was around. I don't know why she bites me so much. Must be her herding instincts. Silly shepherd!
It got too hot and I was cranky so mom took me home and there were people in OUR yard when we weren't home! I just had to tell them off, how dare they...

I feel asleep afterwards, too stressful of a day. Maybe today will be better. Mom promised a hike! Fun fun fun!
