ATLEY'S ADVENTURES

Wow... I haven't had a new diary in over a week!

OMD! I think that might be the longest I've ever gone between diaries!

It was a pretty good week though.

Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Dave came to visit from Nebraska this weekend! It was great!

I love them all so much! One time I tried to sit in Uncle Dave's lap, but it didn't work very well since he was standing up at the time. :-/ Oh well.

On Saturday they all went to the Nebraska vs. Baylor football game, so we stayed at home with our other grandparents and our Aunt Melanie! We love Aunt Melanie!!!

When mom, dad, our other grandparents and Uncle Dave came home, everybody was home at the same time!!!! I was so EXCITED I could hardly stand it!!!

On Sunday, I got to go for a car ride with mom and Grandma and Grandpa P. Grandpa P needed to stop by Auto Zone, and I needed to go to TSC and PetSmart. Mom and Grandma P. went in with me, and they were so proud of me for being such a good boy! Lots of people told me how handsome I am, it was sooo much fun!

Then Grandpa P. wanted to go to a woodworking store. I thought that sounded like great fun! I bet they have some awesome sticks there! But sadly, they wouldn't let me go in with Grandpa P.

When we got home, once again, EVERYBODY was home!!! Even Aunt Melanie!

A little while later, it got even better when Elway and her mom stopped by the house!!! I got so excited and worked up, that mom got mad at me. :-( She and Grandma P. said that I probably put so much energy in to being a good boy while we were out, that I had to make up for it.

It's not like I was being bad, ya know? ALL of my peeps were home, and then Elway came over too! How does a guy NOT get excited about that?!?!?

*sigh*

Oh, on Friday night, I swore I was gonna get a piece of London Broil! Grandma P. was helping mom clean the dinner plates, and she dropped a piece on the floor! I was on it right away!

Evidently, lighting reflexes run in the family, because Grandma P. grabbed my muzzle, opened my mouth, reached in and took out the London Broil before I could swallow it.

Oh... I was heart broken.

Grandma said "No no! Atley that could KILL you!"

At that point, mom said it looked like I was about to break down crying.

And I was.

I mean, it fell on the floor! That's fair game, right?!?

Mom was also very impressed with Grandma P! She could tell that's a woman whose raised some boys! BOL! Daddy is very mild mannered and easy going now, but I bet he was a handful when he was a human pup! BOL!

But aside from the London Broil incident, it was an awesome weekend. I love my family so much, and they were all at our house at the same time. It just doesn't get any better than that!!!

Life just can't get any better!

Now that Peaches is here, there are always 3 girls around!

ELWAY CAME OVER TO VISIT AND SPEND THE NIGHT!!!

Ahem...

I would just like to say that despite what she says, Peaches didn't really scare me.

I may have been caught off guard.

I may have stumbled a bit.

But I was not scared.

Impressed, yes.

Scared, no.

Honest!!!!
