Arrival Story:
When Thunder first became ill, I knew I'd need to find a new dog to train as a Service Dog. Thus, Misty entered my life. She was donated to me by a breeder in the U.S. At the time, I needed physical assistance, and as Misty developed it became clear she didn't have a strong enough frame to provide that. Misty loved to work though, and I loved her too much to take that from her - so I continued to train her, and then found her someone she could use her life, and love of service work, to help.

Bio:
Misty was the sweetest dog I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. She loves everyone. She was polite, loving, and a joy to train. I will always love my little girlie girl, and think of her often. Misty shared with me one year of her life, and I gave her everything I could. I trained Misty as an Assistance Dog (with the help of a friend), loved her like one of my own... and then sent her away in one last gift of love. Misty is now a working dog, and has saved her disabled handlers life. The two of them are a joy to see together, each completing the other, and giving each other more than they had on their own. Misty will always be my little "girlie girl", and I will always cherish the time we had together.
