Arrival Story:
I searched and searched to find the perfect dog for me and my growing family. I really felt like Shelties were are fantastic choice, due to my activity level and their personality. So, I found a local breeder, went to see her and it was love at first sight! Her full name is Trinity Magdelena (Maggi), and she is amazing. She is smart and sensitive. She loves people and her brother Skippy. She loves the baby. She's growing up to be a fantastic dog, and I couldn't be happier with her. Oh, except the barking part...

Well, Maggi will be 2 years old in November, which seems far, but I realize it is right around the corner!!! She's definitely gotten better at listening and slowing down a little for us in our little household. :) She LOVES Skippy and he loves her. She also is doing amazingly well with the baby, and much better with the Manna Cat. :)
I really feel like she's coming into her own teen-ness and will be just a fantastic companion for years to come! The puppy thing was a little tough for me... but I see the end of that behavior in sight. Not that she was too bad, but man was she hyper and didn't focus... when she is more focused, the play becomes WAY more enjoyable for the both of us.
Lil M likes to wrap the dog-dogs with blankets... and always says good morning to them. She always wants to know where they are, and it is just too cute. :) Definitely have another dog lover in the house!!!

Maggi is such a bright looking pup! She has very attentive, interested eyes. She comes up to me so many times and stares at me... come on, Mom... PLAY with me!!!!! LOL
She actually likes to play fetch with several of her toys. Oh, and tug. I wonder if I can teach her to play with those disc things this summer, or find her some way to do those agility courses!! If she liked it, she'd be great at it. :)
She's running around now all excited that I'm playing fetch with her!! LOL Oh, until she stole Skippy's toy!! She cracks me up.
Skippy would be great as a rehabilitation dog, who sits with people and is all calm... Maggi,.... not so much!!! ROFL. She's got such personality, though, that I can't imagine not having her! Shelties are amazing. Yes, I'm biased. ;-)
